About Us

We are a dedicated team based in Yorkshire with extensive experience in the residential children’s home sector, now embarking on an exciting journey to establish our own homes.

Our vision is rooted in a shared passion for creating safe, nurturing environments where young people feel valued, empowered, and able to thrive. Having worked across a range of settings and roles, we’ve developed a deep understanding of what it truly takes to care for children with compassion, consistency, and creativity.

Our decision to launch our own children’s homes comes from a genuine desire to improve the care landscape—drawing on the best of what we’ve seen in practice and challenging the aspects that don’t serve young people well. We know the realities of the sector, and we are committed to building homes that are innovative, adaptable, and rooted in trauma-informed care.

Meet the Team

Emma Pyrah-Henry - Registered Manager & Director

Within my working career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles, including supporting adults with disabilities, working with the elderly, as a teaching assistant, and as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator. It was during my time as a SENCO that I realised the impact I could have on the lives of children and young people.

In 2017, I started working in a children’s home, and I knew I’d found my true calling. I worked my way up from Residential Support Worker to Registered Manager. One of my proudest achievements has been leading the home to receive outstanding ratings in my last two inspections.

More recently I have been supporting other homes conducting Reg 44 visits.

Recently, I was thrilled to be nominated for the national "Manager of the Year" award and was honoured to be named runner-up. This recognition has inspired me to continue pushing for excellence in my work.

My focus is always on helping young people feel supported, valued, and empowered to reach their potential, and I hope to continue making a positive difference in their lives in the future.

Jessica Corrales-Ruiz - Director

I’ve been working in care for ten years, starting out in hands-on roles and growing into leadership positions.

I have supported a number of homes on a consultancy basis to set up and register. Working as a Responsible individual and overseeing multiple homes.

I have previously been a registered manager and operations manager in residential settings.

I had the privilege of opening two new homes as a dual Registered Manager. This included supporting two young people with complex needs as they moved from long stays in Tier 4 hospital settings into welcoming, stable homes.

Being in care myself when I was younger has given me a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the challenges young people face. I’ve been able to draw on those personal experiences to help create environments where young people feel truly supported, understood, and valued.

My goal has always been to create safe, supportive spaces where young people can feel valued and have the chance to grow and succeed.

Daniel Jones - Director

Before getting into residential care, I spent 10 years working in the prison service and the police. Those years gave me a real understanding of how a lack of proper care can affect people’s lives and often lead to the situations that brought them into contact with me. In those roles, I often felt like I couldn’t help people in the way I really wanted to, which is what pushed me to make the move into residential care. I am currently setting up and opening 2 homes as a Dual Registered Manager,  prior to this I spent two years working as a Deputy Manager, and it’s been amazing to see just how much good quality care can change lives. The positive impact I’ve witnessed here is so much greater than anything I experienced in my previous roles.

I believe my past experiences have given me an insight and deeper understanding of the challenges people face, which I use every day to ensure that the care we provide truly meets their needs. It’s been incredibly rewarding and has only made me more determined to keep making a difference for young people, helping them create brighter futures for themselves.

Johnathan Haigh - Director

I started out with a trade-based background before moving into teaching and learning, where I gained valuable experience working with children and young people who faced challenges in traditional education settings. Vocational subjects have always been a great way to engage those who may struggle in mainstream environments, and this naturally led me into the world of residential care, focusing on maintenance and construction.

I take pride in creating homes where children and young people can live, learn, and grow, places that feel just like a loving family home. The goal is simple yet incredibly rewarding: to design environments that are non-institutional, meet the specific needs of each child, and allow them to express themselves confidently and safely.

Each project comes with its own set of challenges, often requiring creativity and a touch of child-like imagination to get it just right, and honestly, who wouldn’t love a job like that?
